Loaded Bean Dip
The absolute perfect superbowl app that is still delish, but packed with protein to support your blood sugar! There is about 25 grams of protein in 1 serving!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can refried black beans I used Siete Foods
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can diced green chilis (hot)
- 16 oz cottage cheese, blended Good Culture
- 3/4 pack taco seasoning Siete Food Hot Taco Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
- cilantro and jalapeño for garnish
Instructions
- Brown meat in large saucepan.
- After it is mostly cooked, add bell peppers and green chilis, cook until tender.
- Add the taco seasoning.
- Add refried black beans. After is has warmed and combined with the meat, pour in the blended cottage cheese.
- Transfer to an oven safe dish, top with cheese and broil for a few minutes or until warm and bubbly!
- Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
