One Pot Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1.5 lb broccoli 2 bags roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet ginger Trader Joe’s
  • Sriracha - optional if you like spice! I did 1/4 of a cup
  • 2 cubes ginger Trader Joe’s
  • 2 cubes garlic Trader Joe’s

Instructions

  • In a large sauce pan (with a lid) cook the hamburger until almost done
  • Once it’s almost done, add the veggies ginger, and garlic. Cover (very important so the steam cooks it!)
  • After 10 minutes check on veggies to see if they are cooked thoroughly. If so, add the sauce and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes
  • One it has simmered and is all the way done, serve over white rice
